FALCON PRO represents the most cost-effective iteration of ECLIPSƎ by far. As a driver technology platform, ECLIPSƎ was derived from a flagship progenitor in LUNA, one of the very few pure beryllium foil dynamic driver in-ears in the world. FALCON PRO takes advantage of all of the core features of the ECLIPSƎ platform, with a new 10 mm driver that features an aDLC dome, fully independent surround, and 1.6 T high magnetic flux density motor design.
With three different tuning nozzles, FALCON PRO changes between a balanced, mildly V-shaped sound signature with its 'Reference' nozzle, to a more clarity-oriented signature with the 'Transparency' nozzle. Finally, 'Atmospheric Immersion' mode delivers not merely boosted bass, but also brings the midrange upward proportionally. Together with a multipath airflow management system and a dual chambered, anti-resonance shell design, the driver allows FALCON PRO to achieve very high acoustic performance at a reasonable price point.
On the outside, FALCON PRO's cast and CNC-finished stainless steel housings are anodized in a mirror-like chrome finish and frosted throwback logo motif, differentiating it from its matte black predecessor. The revised shell design is maximized for long-term comfort.
A brand-new 6N silver-plated OCC copper cable with a new Q-Lock LITE modular plug system is included, with 3.5 mm single-ended, 2.5 mm balanced, and 4.4 mm balanced plugs.
